Brookstone at Barefoot Resort
Brookstone is a single-family neighborhood of cul-de-sac streets inside Barefoot Resort, North Myrtle Beach: Bay Pines Court, Seedling Court, Wax Myrtle Court, Windy Pines Drive, Tall Grass Drive and Club Course Drive. The homes were built from 2007 to 2011.
Plans run from three-bedroom ranches to four-bedroom, three-bath homes with a second-floor loft, and the lots are among the largest in the resort, several of them a third to nearly half an acre on the cul-de-sac ends. Screened porches backing to woods are common.

Thirteen sales in three years is about four a year, so choice is limited at any one time and the right home is worth moving on. The larger four-bedroom plans on the bigger lots are the ones that reach the top of the range.
Brookstone HOA
The fee runs about $207 to $213 a month and covers the Residents Club, the common areas, internet, cable, trash and security. Owners maintain their own lots. Golf carts are allowed.
The Residents Club
The Residents Club is Barefoot Resort’s private amenity center for owners, with a pool, a fitness center and tennis courts, and a full-time activities director. Every Barefoot owner has access to it, and the association fee is what pays for it.
Golf, the Beach Cabana and the Marina
Barefoot Resort has four championship courses at the door: the Love, the Norman, the Fazio and the Dye. Owning here does not include golf. The Love, the Norman and the Fazio are public courses anyone can play, so an owner without a membership books a tee time and pays per round like any visitor. The Dye is semi-private and requires a Dye Club membership, which also covers the other three. A few listings carry a transferable golf membership, and that is worth real money.
Owners in the Barefoot Resort Residential Association have private access to an oceanfront beach cabana at 4611 South Ocean Boulevard, with a sundeck, restrooms, showers and gated parking, plus a seasonal shuttle. On the Intracoastal Waterway, the resort’s full-service marina sits beside a 15,000 square foot saltwater pool.
Why Buyers Choose Brookstone
Brookstone is the choice for a buyer who wants space around the house. The cul-de-sac layout keeps traffic off the street, the lots run well past what most of Barefoot offers, and the 2007 to 2011 build era means the homes are newer than the original resort neighborhoods without the price of new construction.
The trade-off is supply. With four sales a year you will rarely see two Brookstone homes for sale at once, so know which plan you want before one lists. Brookstone is not gated.
Barefoot Landing and North Myrtle Beach
Barefoot Landing sits across the Intracoastal Waterway from the resort: more than 100 shops and restaurants around the lake, with the House of Blues and the Alabama Theatre bringing live music and touring shows a few minutes from the front door.
