Barefoot Resort Map
North Myrtle Beach
How Barefoot Resort Is Laid Out
Barefoot Resort stretches along the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach, directly across the water from Barefoot Landing. Four championship golf courses run through it, and the neighborhoods are built around them — which is why the map is worth studying before you start looking at homes.
Where a property sits inside the resort changes what you get. Some neighborhoods front a fairway, some look over the waterway or the marina, and others are set back in the trees with no course frontage at all. Two homes a few minutes apart can be very different buys.
Reading the Map
A few things worth orienting yourself on before you compare neighborhoods:
The Waterway
The resort fronts the Intracoastal Waterway, with the marina and the saltwater pool along it and Barefoot Landing on the far side.
The Golf Courses
Four courses thread through the resort. Three come with ownership; the Dye is semi-private and needs a membership or a paid tee time.
The Gates
Three neighborhoods are gated. Dye Estates has the only manned gate at Barefoot Resort; the other two use automated gates.
The oceanfront beach cabana is not on this map — it sits off the resort at 4611 South Ocean Boulevard, with a seasonal shuttle running between the two. A five-mile walkway circles the resort itself.
